Why three pathways?
The biology behind Convertase, and three ways to explore one shared foundation.
I wanted the name Convertase to carry something of the way I’m thinking about the company.
In the complement system, three canonical activation pathways converge on C3-convertase activity. The routes differ, while the enzyme complexes perform a shared central function. The name borrows that idea of convergence.
The biological reference is explained in Immunobiology.
Three contexts for care
Clinics, doctors, and hospitals are connected, overlapping settings. They are useful entry points for exploring different jobs.
Clinics: could the consultation and earlier visits become a useful patient memory, reviewed by the doctor?
Doctors: could richer context help surface relevant patterns, evidence, and questions for clinical judgment?
Hospitals: could context across systems and processes help teams understand bottlenecks and explore focused AI implementations?
One foundation to investigate
The shared idea is a clinician-controlled data layer: conversations, observations, records, and signals brought into context, with intelligence over it.
A phone might be right in one room. A microphone, smart glasses, or an edge device could be useful somewhere else. The interface is a question for the setting, rather than the identity of the company.
Three principles
Context before confidence. Understand what is known, where it came from, and what remains missing.
Agency stays human. Give the person responsible for care the ability to inspect, question, correct, and decide.
Reality gets a vote. Let real workflows and evidence change the idea.
The number three helps organize the exploration. It should never prevent the company from learning that a different shape would work better.
